Elev8 Tax & Accounting ("Elev8," "we," "us") provides tax, accounting, compliance, and fractional CFO services to businesses and individuals. This policy describes how we collect, use, and protect information through elev8cfo.com and our client platforms.
Information you provide: name, email, phone number, and business details when you contact us, book a call, or subscribe to our deadline calendar; and financial, tax, and payroll records you share with us as a client through our secure portals.
Information collected automatically: basic usage data such as pages visited, device type, and general location, gathered through standard website analytics.
To provide and improve our services; prepare and file returns and reports you engage us for; respond to inquiries and schedule appointments; send deadline reminders and occasional updates you've opted into; and meet our legal and professional obligations. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your financial data for advertising.
We share information only with service providers that help us operate — such as Calendly (scheduling), TaxDome (secure client portal and document exchange), our accounting and FP&A platforms, and email providers — each bound by their own confidentiality and security obligations; with tax authorities when filing on your behalf; and when required by law. Client tax information is additionally protected under IRC §7216: we do not disclose or use tax return information for any purpose other than preparing your return without your written consent.
Client documents move through encrypted portals — never plain email. We retain records only as long as needed to provide services and satisfy legal, tax, and professional retention requirements, then dispose of them securely.
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information (subject to records we must retain by law), and you can unsubscribe from emails at any time using the link in each message.
