1. Who we are

2. Information we collect

Information you give us, including:

• Contact & inquiry details — name, email, business name, and any message you send through our contact or download forms.
• Free-tool accounts — when you create an account for the Elev8 Mileage Log, we collect your name, business name (optional), and email, and we store the mileage and vehicle data you enter so the tool can work for you.
• Client engagement information — if you become a client, the financial and tax documents you share with us to deliver our services.

We do not intentionally collect sensitive information beyond what's needed to provide a service you've asked for.

3. How we use your information

• To provide and operate our website, free tools, and client services.
• To respond to your inquiries and send materials you request (such as our tax-deadline calendar).
• To send occasional tax and finance tips, updates, and offers — only if you've opted in (see consent below).
• To meet our legal, accounting, and professional obligations.

4. Marketing emails & your consent

We only send marketing or promotional emails to people who have explicitly opted in (for example, by checking the consent box when creating a free-tool account). Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can opt out at any time — it takes effect immediately. Transactional messages (like a reply to your inquiry, or an essential account notice) are not marketing and may be sent regardless.

5. Your mileage & tool data

The trips, vehicles, and figures you enter into the Elev8 Mileage Log are stored in your account to provide the tool to you. We do not sell this data, and we do not use the contents of your logs for marketing. You can request deletion of your account and its data at any time.

6. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with trusted service providers who process it on our behalf to run our business, under their own security and privacy obligations — for example:

• Google Firebase — accounts and data storage for our free tools.
• Resend — sending email (notifications and, with consent, updates).
• Netlify and Vercel — website and application hosting.
• Calendly — scheduling consultations.
• TaxDome — our secure client document portal.

We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights.

7. Data retention & security

We keep information only as long as needed to provide our services and meet legal and professional requirements, and we use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect it. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information accordingly.

8. Your choices

• Unsubscribe from marketing emails any time via the link in those emails.
• Access or delete your information, or close a free-tool account, by emailing oskar@elev8cfo.com.

9. Children's privacy

Our website and tools are intended for business owners and are not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We'll revise the “last updated” date above when we do, and material changes will be reflected here.
